Took the monday night progression raid into BT for a change last night. We went wandering through the halls, encountered some seriously gem laden but frankly weak trash and then got our first glimpse of Mr Gorefiend looking all arrogant and fallen angel like...

We failed to show the proper respect several times whilst people got used to the fight , (how cool is that voice acting!!!) but generally we were surprised at how easy it was. Once everyone had experienced the ghost phase, it was ro pew pew and Teron went boo hoo.



Good work all ! From next week we are spending a lot more time in BT .. ;-)

After far too long sorting the raid *sigh* we went off to Black temple to revisit it. Only our third venture inside and we pushed past Nej'entus and laughed at Supremus. Then inside we went ...

Trash was surprisingly easy inside and yielded many gems and item drops. The Akama fight was straight forward pew pew ;-)

25 of us decided to go see what this what's the big deal about Black Temple last night. The front door was locked, then we see Teddy bolting down a hole. Thinking he was after a rabbit again we sighed and followed. Apparently his keen sense of smell had found the sewers. So hitching up my robes i and others followed.

Came across a big Naga that seemed all set on avenging Lady Vashj's death. Our reputation precedes us! .. Anyway lets just say we burst his bubble...



Big courtyard full of Ilidan's air force and army was vanquished ... And then Supremus went into a big emo fit and started chasing everyone. some he caught, others died in an unfortunate volcanic accidents. He still died ...



It may have been the great healers , steadfast tanks and pew pew dps that was he key to our success . But my money is on the stink from whatever green gunk i saw Teddy roling in earlier. Pheuww!!

Great raid folks, 2 first kills on one night ! And a long awaited foothold in Mr Stormrage's residence!

We decided yesterday the guild neded some exercise, so we dragged 25 folks along to Mount Hyjal for a healthy bit of air and exercise.. Those dungeons get very stuffy and dark.

What a nice place it is too .. Lady Proudmoore made us tea and told us to explore.

But every time we tried to leave we were swamped with gouls, adbominations, necromancers and unpleasant natives.

So we killed them .. and some dude caled RAGE WINTERCHILL arrived . So we killed him too :-) Gratz all ! .. next time lets push Mr Anetheron down below 21%

Then we went home .. to much exercise is a bad thing .. poor gad almost lost weight!

Everything went smooth .. Core passing was perfect .. Healers were pro .. tanks pre-ordered aggro on all the Naga and dps nuked the Striders. About bloody time !!!

Great raid folks and super gratz to everyone !! commiserations to the folks paying 300+ for the drops hah!

After a few traditional learning wipes we came to the conclusion that we'd just leave Gadaí tank all the little birdies and be traditional and just dps down al'ar in phase two.

Well down folks another new boss down .. and a nice easy strategy for repeating it ;-)

The Inquisiton progress train continues to its next stop .. just Kael'thas Sunstrider and Lady Vashj remaining in Tier 5 content for us.

One big arse Naga .. 3 buddies and a pet. We got our souls handed to us 4 times before we got the hang of this fight.

Some excellent ideas re-balancing healing and tanking and down they went down like a load of wet fish .. eh . .naga things .. !

Inquisition disturbs some nearby Murlocs and kills Morogrim Tidewalker!

So last night off we went to SSC all cheerfull and it was our first progression raid of 2008. We casually wandered into SSC, armed to the teeth the cream of the inquisition. After a rude awaking on some evi,l trash haha! :-) we put our game faces on and started playing. Next up a few trash packs including some seriousely scary ass giant frenzied murlocs that Gadaí decided to aoe tank .. hahahahah. We reached the flatulent Mr Tidewalker. After 4 learning wipes we discovered a unique strategy. We repeatedly sacrificed Saphire (5 times) to the Murloc God Argluargilaahaah and tidewalker died!!!

Next time we'll only let Saph die 4 times.. Great job folks, First of many new inquisition kills of 2008..

Hula Girls Christmas Cook up

Two guild bank tabs taken over with free to all raw cooking materials and recipies. Teams of fishersfolk on standby and saphire ready to advise on all culinary matters! Yes the cookup ran for about a week over the holiday period...

From our estimates we added in the region of 2500 cooking skillpoints to the guild, with many people maxing out their culinary skills!. No excuses for not having buff food now.

Big thanks to Saphire for organising this event and helping in the kitchen!

Winterveil has arrived again... with those pesky goblins selling us wrapping paper and the abominable Greench stalking Alterac once again. The realm abounding with equal doses of seasonal cheer and bah humbug grouches.

Just last night whilst rescueing three hostages from General Kargaths executioner, we encounterd Grand Warlock Nethekurse ridiculing his peons whilst wearing a green santa hat! (btw linginia can't pick locks!! nub!)Anyway......
